Fees

The fee for an individual psychological session is $215. The Australian Psychological Society (APS) and Australian Association for Psychologists inc (AAPI) recommend a fee of $330.

Medicare

You can obtain a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP or a referral from a psychiatrist.

A Medicare rebate can be claimed if you have a valid referral. Up to 10 rebates for psychology sessions are available per calendar year. The rebate is $101.55 and can be processed automatically with this practice. 

Private Health Insurance

Some private health funds offer rebates on psychology sessions. To find out if you’re eligible for rebates, contact your private health insurer. Some private health insurers only offer rebates once government funded services (such as Medicare) have been exhausted.

NDIS

Referrals from self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants can be accepted, but not agency managed referrals.

Workcover

Workcover referrals are not accepted. To find a SIRA registered psychologist, go to
